Santa Paws is coming to Town!

Santa Paws is already here in fact ... arrived on Friday at Create and Craft! If you saw my post yesterday, here are a few more of my festive makes using this super cute kit from Hunkydory's current Pick of the Week!

This first one is using one of the sheets from the paper pad as the main image on the card ..

This is one of the concept cards you get with this kit, there are four frame cards all with different decoupaged images and boxes .. just add a bit of acetate/snowfall acetate behind the frame to make it extra special!

Thanks so much for stopping by and having a peek!

Here comes Santa Paws!

Hey everyone!

Hope you are having a lovely start to the weekend. I am away visiting family in the Midlands today and what a gorgeous day it is. Sat on my laptop in the garden as I am writing this - this is the life!

Yesterday saw to launch of the new festive kit from Hunkydory - Santa Paws - available from Create and Craft as your Pick of the Week bundle - this includes the kit, paper pad and inserts and it is BEA-U-TIFUL!

Here are a few of the samples that I made for this launch ..

Having a kitty cat myself I absolutely love this collection and I LOVE the bunnies, they are soooo cute!

Add some extra interest to your cards with a sprinkling of glitter or some acetate!

Happy weekend!

Thank you for stopping by, will share some more tomorrow :)

How about some Boutique Chic ..

Thanks for stopping by again ... today I have some of my samples from the Boutique Chic collection to share with you.

This is also now available on the Hunkydory website here. Alongside the main kit, there is a gorgeous paper pad, matching inserts, book of matching foiled card and foiled acetate. Stunning collection!

Here are a few of the samples I made ..

This was one of my fave images, the dog on the scooter, so cute! And I am loving DL cards at the moment ...

Here is another DL card with one of the toppers attached with some folded acetate to create a spring. I have also decoupaged the banners using one of the sheets from the paper pad ..

This is the purse, which you can make with one of the elements of the paperkit ..

And these are the cards I made to go inside ..

Until next time ...

More Fun In The Sun...

With the lovely weather we have been having, this collection is perfect for those special occasions in these summery months!

Here are a few more of my samples from the launch, click here to purchase from the online Hunkydory store .. in addition to the kit, there are of course matching inserts and a co-ordinating Little Book of Decoupage .. what are you waiting for?

I used a bit Summer Breeze foiled acetate on this one, also available online.

I used some embossed Adorable Scorable on this next card, it embosses beautifully!

Using another pattern from the Summer Breeze foiled acetate ..

I have really started to enjoy using acetate on my cards, it just adds that something extra, either over cardstock or cut away panels and replace with acetate. Patterned and plain acetates are both available on the Hunkydory website!

Pop back tomorrow for some Boutique Chic inspiration!

My Fair Lady

One of my favourite musicals and one the parts I would most like to play - Eliza Doolittle! And Hunkydory have brought out a kit called My Fair Lady, reminiscent of some of the fabulous costumes that Audrey Hepburn dons in that fabulous film!!

I got the kit for half price when I bought it with the new Hunkydory mag and here are a few makes using the lilac toppers/cardstock.

This one is made using some of the toppers and one of the sheets of cardstock, cut down to fit. Finished with silver mirri and some lilac pearl gems.

This one again is made using elements of a couple of the sheets of cardstock along with toppers from the topper sheet, along with some ribbon, silver mirri and lilac pearl gems.

The border at the side is cut from one piece of cardstock with another border from the topper sheet layered over that ..

This one is made from one of the sheets of cardstock, which had this image on it. I cut the image down and mounted the frame from the topper sheet around it. The background is created with two different shades of Adorable Scorable and then embossed with my trellis embossing folder. I then stuck one of the borders from the topper sheet down the divide to hide it. Finished with some pearl gems, one of the tag toppers + some ribbon and I used silver mirri again for the matt.

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend! Back to it now!

Out of this World!

More Smudge and Mitten for you this morning. I wasn't sure about how this one turned out but I will share anyway, I am sure it will perfect for a little boy's birthday ..

I don't tend to make A5 cards and I know why! I find it really hard to make it look balanced and fill the space. Saying that, I still love these characters, so cute!

So, anyway, here it is ...

I put the matching insert inside too ..

I have always left my insides blank but am getting a bit hooked to inserts, they do just make it look that much better!

Hope you are all having a fab weekend!
