More Scruffy Little Cat - Autumn's turn!

Don't forget to tune in today at 12pm for the first Spectrum Noir show of the week with Leann! Here are the times again for all the shows ....

This is my final sample that I did, this time using the Autumn stamp set from the Scruffy Little Cat range from Crafter's Companion.

The backing papers are from the Scruffy Little Cat paper pads and the sentiment is from the Autumn stamp set too, die cut using Spellbinders Lacy Circles and inked with a bit of Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens and pencils:
FS1, FS2, FS8, FS9, TN2, EB2, GB8, GB10, EB7, PL4, LV3, TN3. TN5, TN7, TB2, TB3, IG3, IG5, IG7, GT1, GT2, GT3, JG6, True Black, Blender + 100

I created the background using a die cut cloud and sponged around it using some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

Thanks for stopping by!

Chanel - Scruffy Little Cat

Good Morning!

Today, I have another of my makes for the Spectrum Noir shows starting tomorrow on Create and Craft. This one is using the Chanel rubber stamp set, coloured of course with my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils.

Colours used are as follows:
Skin FS1, FS2, FS8, FS9, TN2,
Dress: Black, IG5, IG7, IG9, Lips: DR1Eyes: TN5, TN7, IG1, IG3, IG5, IG7, FS9, FS1Perfume bottle: PP1, PP2, CR5, GB1, GB3, GB6HairL: EB2, GB8, GB10, EB7Pencils: 30, 32, 87, 88 and 120

The backing papers are from the Scruffy Little Cat paper pads, I think I used a sheet from both the dark and light pads for this one. I also used the Chic embossing folder from the SLC collection too on the black layer underneath and curled one of the backing papers over to reveal it. I used liquid pearls to accentuate the pattern and also for the string of pearls on the image.

The sentiment is also from the Chanel stamp set, die cut using Spellbinders Wonky Squares die.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas with Sheena!

I am always inspired by the talented Sheena, whenever she graces our screens on Create and Craft and I have been meaning for so long to try out her techniques as I do have a few of her stamp sets and a large collection of Distress Inks!

I recently bought the City Christmas stamp set, which is available on the Crafter's Companion website and along with my Distress Inks, this is what I have created, and I am pretty chuffed with how it turned out!

I used Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky and Weathered Wood Distress Inks in that order from top to bottom. I then stamped my images using black Archival ink. The moon is from one of Sheena's other stamp sets - Lakeside Shore. Using a water brush, I then bleached out the colour from the house, the sleigh and reindeers and the moon, then dabbed with some tissue.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and the snow was added at the end with a white gel pen.

I intend to be trying more of this kind of thing, it was so fun!

Happy crafting and thanks for stopping by!
