String of Pearls - Songbird Challenges

It is time for another challenge at Songbird Challenges and this week we are singing to the tune of 'String of Pearls' by the Glenn Miller Band! Basically you just need to use pearls of some sort on your card, so this is a nice easy one! If you are anything like me they appear on virtually all my cards, I just love them and prefer them much more to sparkly gems. There is something classy about pearls and they make a fab addition to any card!!

So, without further ado, here is my DT card for this challenge:

The image I have used on my card is 'Executive Woman' by The Paper Shelter who are our fabulous sponsors this time and have kindly given the DT some of their images to play with. I chose this one, as she is definitely a classy lady just like pearls! I have coloured her with my ProMarkers. There is a $20 gift certificate up for grabs for the winner, who will be chosen at random! So what are you waiting for ..

The papers are New Leaf from First Edition all backed onto kraft. I used Walnut Stain Distress Ink to tint all the edges just to give it some definition. The sentiment is from Pink Petticoat and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. The bigger pearls are by The Hobby House and finally the pearl swirl and butterfly and from The Ribbon Girl!!

So see you over at the challenge blog with your pearly creations!!

Happy Crafting!
